Sasha Ruffin believes that just because you’re a small business, doesn’t mean that you can’t run like the big businesses do. With almost 10 years of upper management experience behind her, Sasha started The Workflow Strategist to do just that - help small businesses set up the right systems so they can earn more by doing less.

In this episode Sasha talks about what motivated her to get started with her business and lessons she has learned along the journey.

Here are a few takeaways:

1. Be keenly aware of what you are good at

Sasha shares how she discovered her ability to organize things going back to an experience at 12 years old. Many of us discount the things we are good at (and our children are good at).

2. Do your research

"We fear what we don't understand." Sasha talks about the value of studying your customer, your industry and everything involved.

3. Be prepared to shift

You learn from each client, from each interaction. So be prepared to make changes and adjustments to accomplish your overall goal.
